Formerly known as Classic Car Care, this shop was founded by Chris Kontos, who built a trusted name in the community through honesty and integrity. After more than a decade of serving customers with exceptional automotive care, Chris sold the business to Clutch Automotive to ensure the values and quality he established would thrive under innovative leadership. Clutch Automotive is proud to continue serving Katy drivers with the same dedication while introducing new systems to enhance the customer experience.
Meet the Manager
With over 40 years of experience in the automotive industry, Jim Noblitt brings unparalleled expertise and leadership to the Mason location. Jim began his career in 1979 as a mechanic’s helper specializing in wheel alignments and quickly rose to prominence, earning recognition as a top technician in 1980. Over the years, his relentless pursuit of knowledge led him to become an ASE, L1 certified technician, continually honing his skills through extensive training programs.
In 2002, Jim founded Mission Car Care, a successful business he led for 20 years before joining Clutch Automotive. His dedication to faith, integrity, and people-first principles aligns perfectly with Clutch’s values, making him an invaluable part of the team. As General Manager, Jim combines his technical expertise and leadership skills to ensure every customer at the Mason location receives exceptional care.
